Artist Bio
Jason Sagat grew up on the outskirts of New York City and currently resides in Hoboken, NJ. His entry to design was through high school photography classes where he was instantly enthralled with the craft. He studied photography and digital art at the State University of New York at Oneonta and continued his education at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He draws inspiration from artists like Kandinsky and Richter to find the juxtaposition of abstract and familiar to capture the nuanced beauty the world has to offer. Today, he is locally renowned for his unique and abstract urban visuals.
My Vision
My art is made to capture the beauty in the everyday to express the energy and vibrancy of subtle, simple elements of our world. I believe these everyday layers of our life make up something more intricate and energetically interconnected.
Personally, I connect to my work as a source of appreciation, energy, and motivation. My goal is for it to elicit the same feelings in you.
